HARVESTING
Our seeds are sourced from the wild. Seed-pickers are contracted from local communities and labour prices are agreed through mutually beneficial bargaining processes. When harvesting is complete, pickers congregate at the group buying point. Here the first stage of quality control is initiated as seed is closely examined for yield value. The produce is weighed and harvesters are remunerated there and then. At the factory the seeds are weighed again, graded and sorted for oil extraction.
